Privacy Policy

This privacy policy outlines the types of personal information that we may collect about you, how we may use this information and when we may share them with third parties.

You are not required to register in order to search or browse Huzit.coM. When browsing, only standard log information is collected. Browsing the site does not expose your identity.

However, when you register, you store your personal information with us. Only registered users of Huzit.coM may post new subjects or edit existing subjects. As a registered user of Huzit.coM, your published subject is viewable by the public and your posts will be identified by your registered username, within the edit history. Data on users, such as the times at which they edited and the number of edits they have made are publicly available via "edit history" lists. You may choose to use your real name or pseudonym as your username. Your username and password will be stored with us to enable you to log back in without having to re-enter them, should you select to use the Remember Me option. However, we require you to include your real First Name and Last Name upon registration. Your IP address will not be made known to the public, but may be stored in the Huzit.coM server and viewable by its administrators.

It is not Huzit.coM's policy to release any personal data collected in the server logs and database. However this information may be released by the system administrators, in the following circumstances:

1.   Legal counsel when necessary for investigation of abuse complaints, or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims

2.   In response to a subpoena, court order, legal process or any other compulsory requests from law enforcement organizations.

3.   In investigating and identifying culprits of vandalism and/or disruptive behaviors within Huzit.coM, to enforce an IP block or to formulate a complaint to relevant Internet Service Providers.

4.   Where it is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property and/or safety of Huzit.coM and/or its users.

Remember to Log-out from Huzit.coM after each session to avoid unauthorized usage of your identity.

Cookies

Huzit.coM will set a temporary session cookie whenever you visit the website. You may reset your browser to refuse these cookies, or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, denying the cookie will disable you from signing in to your Huzit.coM account. More cookies may be set when you log in, to assist you to remember your username and password for your next visit. These cookies will remain in your computer's operating system until they expire or until you delete them. So as not to expose your user information, you are advised to clear your browser cache if you are using a shared or public machine.

Passwords

Many aspects of the Huzit.coM content depend on the reputation and respect that is built up through a history of valued contributions. User passwords are the only guarantee of the integrity of the user's edit history. All users are recommended to use strong passwords and to never share them. No one should knowingly expose their password or another user's password directly or indirectly to another individual or as a public release.

Sharing information with third parties

Huzit.coM will not sell or share private information, such as email addresses, with third parties, without consent unless required by law. By using our service, you consent to the transfer of your info among facilities we use as web storage.

Although Huzit.coM takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to any information you provide, we make no guarantees that such intrusions do not occur. This information may be available to anyone with access to the servers.

Removal of user accounts

Users who are suspected of, or reported to be misusing the services provided by Huzit.coM may be blocked or banned from further use. Users whose emails have been blocked may not be able to login nor register a new account.

Users may choose to terminate their accounts by writing to info@huzit.com using the email they registered with.

Deletion of content

Content containing bad words or foul language is not allowed on Huzit.coM. Users will be prompted to clean up their content should such words be found in the content they wish to publish. Users are also discouraged from posting content that is of defamatory nature, harmful, untrue, or with intent to discredit or malign. Such content found or reported as abuse, will be deleted by the system administrators without notice.
